Workplace Injury Treatment in Coral Springs, FL.

Are You a Candidate For Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression?

If you are experiencing pain because of a workplace accident, take comfort in the knowledge that you are not alone. Workplace pain impacts countless workers and winds up costing their employers billions each year in workmen’s compensation cases and in lost productivity.

Often times though, plenty of occupations can place substantial demands on your body, specifically your back, shoulders and neck. And you don’t have to be a nurse, a construction worker or factor worker to be at risk for workplace pain. Even regular office work can often times result in back pain and other work-related issues.

Wasted Work

Around 186 million work days are lost each year as a result of back pain alone. This has a profound effect on productivity and labor costs.

And although back pain is the absolute most common type of workplace injury, other risks include overexertion, falls and repeated motion injuries.

In 2012, the Liberty Mutual insurance provider conducted a workplace safety study. They established that the cost of the most disabling workplace injuries and illnesses amounted to $51.1 billion per year in the form of workmen’s compensation costs. That’s nearly $1 billion every week!

Contributing Factors

In another study, the Mayo Clinic took a look at the most common factors that resulted in workplace pain:

  • Force: Lifting and moving heavy objects can exert excessive force on your back, causing injury.
  • Repetition: When you repeat certain movements repeatedly, it can easily bring about muscle fatigue and injury. If you are stretching to the limit of your range of motion or using an awkward body position, this is especially true.
  • Posture: Muscle fatigue and injury also may possibly be brought on by slouching, which exaggerates your back’s natural curves.
  • Stress: Pressure at work can increase your anxiety. This has been specifically linked to muscle tension and tightness, which can then cause back pain or make back injuries worse.

Negative Side Effects of Workplace Injuries

Lower back pain and other workplace injuries can affect other areas of your life. Because they feel their career may be threatened if they report their pain, most people with workplace injuries return to work even though they are in pain.

Others are concerned about whether their injury will prevent them from continuing to work. And others spend so much time handling flare-ups and treating their injuries on their own, that they ignore other important aspects of their lives, like their families and social life.

I’ve been visiting Disc Center of America I am on my 13th visit when I first came to this place. I told the doctor straight out that I Could give a reviewed only if I see results and no lie I started seeing results on my third visit. I was in agony and the money that I spent for the treatment. Is the best money I have spent because I feel great. The doctor and the staff are highly professional and I would definitely recommend highly to anybody that has neck problems or any disc discomfort. I don’t like to give reviews less I see results and definitely if I could give more stars I would I’m not only doing my treatment, but I’m gonna keep Coming back for maintenance I can’t express more gratitude thanks, Dr. Lawrence Ashkinazy

5 Stars is not enough to rate this amazing Team! After several months of trying to find relief from chronic back pain, I came across Dr. A who educated me on my condition and focused on fixing the problem not just treating the pain. He took the time to evaluate me throughly and presented a treatment package with great value. The non-surgical spinal decompression program is detailed, well put together and promising. I saw results right away, althought my healing journey is not over my progress has given me hope to full recovery. Dr. A's assistants are super friendly, attentive and very professional. They truly care for your well-being and are dedicated to ensure every visit is pleasant and you walkout feeling better.

“I arrived at the doctor’s office with level 10 back pain, and after one hour I left that same day with the pain down to level 4. The staff is always attentive and very friendly, and the doctor truly cares about your improvement. Today is my third week of therapy and I feel better — I hope to reach zero pain.”
